November is flying by, and life seems to move even faster when you have growing kids. Recently, I noticed we were down to just a few spoons, knives, and a mismatched jumble of plates, bowls, and cups. I finally got fed up, hopped on Amazon, and ordered all new family friendly dishware, bowls, cups, and utensils—and wow, it has been such a breath of fresh air.

New Family-Friendly Dishware for Our Kitchen
After plenty of thought and research, I decided on Corelle dishware. I love how thin, lightweight, and easy it is to carry stacks of plates and bowls, especially when I’m serving several meals a day. I also ordered some Corelle 30oz meal bowls to try them out, and it’s been one of my favorite items for that purchase. It’s almost strange how much joy these bowls give me. Something about the fact that they are a mix between a bowl and plate (we like to call them blates for fun) holds big portions of food just right.
For the dinnerware set, I chose the Country Cottage pattern, and it feels so nostalgic. Speaking of nostalgia, I also found a set of silverware that looks just like grandma’s—and it has held up beautifully in her home. I keep thinking about my kids and future grandkids and how I want them to feel when they walk into my kitchen. I don’t want a home that feels bleak or boring. Somehow, whimsical dinnerware just feels right.
For cups, I ordered more 16-oz wide-mouth mason jars because they serve so many purposes. We use them as drinking glasses, storage containers, and even for sauces. They’re durable, the perfect size, and I grabbed some lids to make storing things even easier.
Clothing Finds for Fall
I also stumbled upon my new favorite pair of jeans. They’re loose and casual without being overly trendy. They’re from Levi’s—a brand I trust for real, sturdy denim. I actually found them on a date night with my husband, in a store I would normally never step foot in… Urban Outfitters! I’m wearing a size 27 and they fit perfectly. They don’t hang low on me like the picture online—they’re just a classic pair of jeans that make you feel comfortable and covered.
I also ordered a bright pink roll-neck sweater from J.Crew to keep me warm this season, and so many of you messaged me about it! Apparently, it’s gone viral online, and I can see why. It’s the perfect sweater—great quality, mid-range price, and so many beautiful color options. While I’m on a pink/red color kick, I also picked up a new fall dress from Christy Dawn. It’s the classic Dawn Dress in Summer Harvest. It’s one of those timeless pieces you can wear in any season, and I love supporting ethical clothing brands. For fall, I’ve been pairing it with a slouchy sweater and boots, which feels perfectly cozy and effortless.
More Odds & Ends
Last but not least, a few odds and ends I’ve been loving: beeswax candles to light in my kitchen while I cook, the perfect scoop for cookies and muffins, my favorite silicone spatulas, and a beautiful set of yellow casserole dishes for that thanksgiving cooking I’m doing!
That’s it for now! Everything is linked through the photos. I’ll be back next month with some December favorite things. Have a wonderful day!
