Cherry Vanilla Protein Smoothie Bowl
My latest fixation. A high protein smoothie bowl that completely satisfies my sweet tooth! Bursting with flavor from lemon, lime, cherries, banana, and vanilla protein powder.

Let me introduce you to my latest fixation. I usually have a sweet tooth that hits after dinner, and while many times i’m reaching for ice cream, lately i’ve been trying to replace my evening sugar habit with a healthier alternative. I didn’t expect for this to turn out so delicious and addicting! This recipe is simple but you do need a few specific ingredients to make the magic happen here. First off, I highly recommend a high powered blender. I use my Vitamix 750 every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. It’s well worth the investment.
Ingredients for this Cherry Vanilla Smoothie Bowl:
- 1 large frozen banana – I always keep a bag of frozen bananas, broken in half, in my freezer!
- 1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries – I buy a big bag from Costco quite often!
- Clean Simple Eats Simply Vanilla Protein Powder – The flavor is just perfect. You are welcome to try another protein powder of choice but I’m currently hooked on this one.
- Lemon and Lime – you need FRESH lemon and lime here. Trust me.
- Plain yogurt – I love using A2A2 yogurt from costco. It gives this bowl a boost of probiotics and is easy on the stomach if your sensitive to dairy.
- A scoop of ice!

How I Make It
Into the blender, add all of the ingredients and just a tiny but of water. You will need the tamp that comes with the blender. Tamp it down as it blends until its thick and creamy. Add a little more water if it’s not coming together.

This make one giant smoothie bowl or two smaller ones. It’s super filling and delicious. I hope you enjoy!
