These chocolate pecan crumble snack bars are a no bake freezer treat made with oats pecans dates and a rich chocolate coconut oil topping. An easy nourishing snack for sweet cravings.

Ingredients
Base
1cuprolled oats
1½cupspecans
¼cupground flax meal
9whole pitted Medjool dates
½cupmelted coconut oil
¼teaspoonpure almond extract
Pinchof sea salt
Chocolate Filling
¼cupmelted coconut oil
½cupcocoa powder
¼cuphoney
Instructions
Add the rolled oats and pecans to a food processor, and pulse for about 30 seconds until lightly chopped.
Add the dates, melted coconut oil, almond extract, flax meal, and salt. Process until the mixture is well combined and forms a crumbly dough.
Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Reserve 1 cup of the mixture, then press the remaining dough firmly into the pan to form the base.
In a bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, cocoa powder, and honey until smooth. The mixture should be thick but still pourable.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the base, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the reserved crumbles on top and finish with flaky sea salt.
Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until fully set. Slice into bars and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
