- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup soy sauce plus more to taste (check for gluten if gluten free)
- 1 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons gochujang (Optional)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 9 oz bags coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots
- Cooked rice for serving (Optional)
- Sesame seeds optional for topping
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add the sesame oil.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked.
Stir in the grated ginger, garlic powder, onion powder, and gochujang.
Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and rice vinegar and stir to combine.
Add the coleslaw mix along with any extra chopped veggies if you are chopping your own.
Cook for several minutes until the vegetables soften and cook down.
Add more soy sauce if needed.
Serve warm on its own or over rice and top with sesame seeds if desired.
