Ingredients
128ozcan whole tomatoes(I prefer Cento San Marzano here)
1teaspoondried basil
1teaspoondried oregano
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspooncoarse kosher saltUse 3/4 teaspoon if using fine sea salt or table salt
1/4tspblack pepper
1tbspred wine vinegar
Instructions
Open the can of tomatoes and pour them into a large bowl.
Using clean hands, crush the tomatoes until broken down into small pieces.
Add basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Add the red wine vinegar and mix well to combine.
Cover the bowl and let the sauce rest at room temperature for about 2 hours before using.
