These fudgy date nut snack bars are naturally sweetened with Medjool dates and made with cocoa, nuts, and nut butter for a rich no bake treat that is simple, wholesome, and perfect for meal prep.

Ingredients
1 ½cupspacked Medjool datespitted
1cupwalnuts
1cuppecans
1/2cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1teaspoonvanilla extract
¼teaspoonsea salt
1/3 cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Pulse nuts in a food processor until finely chopped. Be careful to not overprocess the nuts as it released the oils.
Add dates and process until combined.
Add cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Blend until a thick dough forms.
Add in 1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate cips and pulse for 10-15 seconds to break them up into smaller pieces.
Press firmly into a parchment lined pan. It helps to fold the parchment paper over the dough and press firmly with the bottom of a measuring cup or your hands.
Freeze for 1 hour before slicing into bars.
Store these in the freezer and enjoy whenever the craving hits!
