Ingredients
2generous handfuls frozen spinach
½cupwater
2frozen bananas
2cupsfrozen pineapple
1/2cupGreek yogurt or Coconut Cream
Juice of 1 lime
1tablespoonhoney
½teaspoonvanilla paste or extract
Optional: Whipped cream for topping
Whip together the following until soft peaks form:
1cupheavy whipping cream
2tablespoonsgranulated sugar
¼teaspoonvanilla paste or extract
Instructions
Blend Greens First:
Add spinach and water to your blender and blend until smooth. This creates a green “juice” base and prevents leafy flakes in your smoothie.
Add Remaining Ingredients:
Add banana, pineapple, yogurt, lime juice, honey, and vanilla paste. Blend again until thick and creamy. Add a splash more water only if needed.
Serve and Enjoy:
Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream if desired.
Optional: Whipped cream for topping
Whip together the heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla paste (or extract) until soft peaks form. Spoon over the smoothie for a delicious finishing touch!
