Key Lime Pie Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 generous handfuls frozen spinach
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or Coconut Cream
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla paste or extract

Optional: Whipped cream for topping

  • Whip together the following until soft peaks form:
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla paste or extract

Instructions

Blend Greens First:

  • Add spinach and water to your blender and blend until smooth. This creates a green “juice” base and prevents leafy flakes in your smoothie.

Add Remaining Ingredients:

  • Add banana, pineapple, yogurt, lime juice, honey, and vanilla paste. Blend again until thick and creamy. Add a splash more water only if needed.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream if desired.

Optional: Whipped cream for topping

  • Whip together the heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla paste (or extract) until soft peaks form. Spoon over the smoothie for a delicious finishing touch!
